Privacy policy

• Account details: name, email, password (hashed), phone, language.
• Orders: delivery and billing addresses, items purchased, payment status. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and are never stored by us.
• Seller verification: identity documents, business registration and tax forms, kept to meet legal obligations such as the INFORM Consumers Act and IRS reporting.
• Messages, reviews, questions and reports you submit.
• Device and usage data: IP address, browser, pages viewed, referring URL, and strictly necessary cookies (see the Cookie policy).

To process and deliver orders; to calculate tax and duties; to prevent fraud and keep the market safe; to run seller verification and payouts; to answer support requests; to send transactional email (order updates, security notices); to send marketing you can opt out of at any time; and to improve the Service using aggregated analytics.

• Sellers receive the name and delivery address needed to ship your order, and your messages. They do not receive your payment details.
• Service providers: Stripe (payments, tax), carriers and customs brokers, Payoneer and mobile-money partners (seller payouts), Cloudflare (hosting, security), and email delivery providers — each bound by contract to use data only to provide their service.
• Authorities where required by law, including customs declarations and tax reporting.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, to receive a copy of it, or to opt out of its sale or sharing. Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Indiana and other states with privacy laws have these rights by statute; we extend them to everyone.

To make a request, use the privacy-request form at angasugu.com/privacy-request, email privacy@angasugu.com, or call the number in our footer. We verify requests by email and respond within 45 days (extendable once by 45 days where the law allows). You may use an authorised agent. We won't discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we deny a request you can appeal by replying to our decision.

Account data is kept while your account is active and for up to 3 years after closure. Order and tax records are kept for 7 years as required by law. Seller verification documents are kept for the period the INFORM Act and tax rules require. When you delete your account we remove or anonymise everything we're not legally required to keep.

The Service is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information. Buyers and sellers must be 18 or older.

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is limited to staff who need it, and security-relevant actions are logged. Our servers are in the United States; sellers and partners in Africa receive only what's needed to ship orders and be paid.
